Dream Catchers Teen Parents Ink PRESENTS :
MISSION: to support the needs of teen mothers and empower them to achieve their goals.
ELIGIBILITY: DCTMSP is a free service to those who are or were teen mothers, aged 12-25 years of age, living in the south east metro area of Perth W.A.
INFORMATION: Teen mothers can telephone DCTMSP for information about how our service may best be able to assist you.
ASSESSMENT: The staff at DCTMSP can talk with teen mums and their significant others to tailor the support required to address your individual needs.
SUPPORT GROUPS: DCTMSP run weekly information sessions with Guest speakers on a variety of topics. Health & well-being, mental health, pre & post natal care, parenting information, financial counselling & budgeting, along with various recreational activities. DCTMSP value your input and will tailor sessions to your needs.
REFERRAL: The staff at DCTMSP will access the services which can best address your needs and provide referrals where appropriate.
ADVOCACY: The staff at DCTMSP will advocate on your behalf with government and non government agencies.
OUTREACH: We will be outreaching by way of home visits on a fortnightly basis.
PARENTING SUPPORT: DCTMSP believe in empowerment of individuals. Information on a variety of parenting issues will be presented, ensuring you are then able to make an informed choice.
